How does architecture impact people's emotional patterns and behaviours?
The project aims to create a resilient living environment that can protect individuals from virus outbreaks by strengthening their immune systems. It is designed to address factors that make people more susceptible to viruses, such as unhealthy habits, nutritional deficiencies, and lack of sleep. The project consists of two phases: a temporary preparatory phase and a permanent residential phase. The preparatory phase involves abandoning unhealthy habits, convalescing, and building immunity, while the permanent phase involves living on an aeroponic farm and focusing on regeneration, meditation, and a simple lifestyle.
The project involves a pavilion where water serves different functions depending on its location. It promotes ecotherapy through the exploration of the Melancholy Thistle plant, known for its historical use in treating depression. Visitors, especially school students, can view the plant under a microscope, grow their own seedlings, and replant them near the pavilion. The project aims to maintain a symbiotic relationship between the pavilion, its activities, and nature.
The project is based on nature protection from the rewilding side and aims to restore an ecosystem that naturally coexists with English Longhorn Cattle. By allowing half of the land on the western side of the site to self-wild, the project seeks to promote climate change adaptation and the development of resilient, biodiverse ecosystems. The rewilding process involves reintroducing English Longhorn Cattle and observing the ecosystem's progress and growth.
